About the owner
Myself (Fiona) and my husband Michael have lived in this beautiful house for the last 3 years with our youngest son Jack, who is doing "A" levels at Stockport college and the dogs, the 2 girls come and go, they are both at university now Abby is doing her masters in social work and Kate is doing a fine art degree at Wimbledon. Michael has been very hands on with the conversion and the fabulous restoration of this lovley quaint cottage which he has enjoyed very much. We have both worked in hospitality for many years and love welcoming people to our stunning home where we also have bed and breakfast rooms and lovely cottage.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We fell in love with this property the first time we saw it the timing was perfect and fortunatley all went to plan and we managed to buy it. Being so old the house has an amazing history and we are still finding things out even after 3 years. Over the last 450 years only 3 different families have lived in the house and we hope to stay here too!
Unique benefits of the property
We are very conveniently placed for all Buxton has to offer but it still feels quiet and peaceful. The cottage has stunning character features and a really homely feel. With all the rooms being ensuite it makes it especially suitable for friends who like to have their own privacy.
